-History-
Medrash grew up never knowing his parents. His parents had died in one of the poorer cities near Arkhosia. It was figured that they had died in a robbery gone wrong. The robbery was stopped by a Dragonborn paladin who was in the area. Though he was able to stop the robbery and bring the robbers to justice, he wasn’t able to save the victims. He did the next best thing and took the egg that Medrash was in to the nearest Temple of Bahamut.
Medrash spent his life in and around Bahamut’s Temple. He learned all the rituals and prayers of Bahamut. He also learned about the world from the adventurers who came into the temple for services. He helped by helping to keep the temple clean from services. As he grew older he started showing interest in becoming a paladin.
When the Temple realized this they began training him in the ways of the paladin. He loved the training, and he was good at it. As part of his training, he was sent out on small trips on the Temples behalf. This soon wasn’t enough for Medrash, as he was seeing more of the outside world for himself. He started wanting to go adventuring to see more of the world.
After his training was done, Medrash asked for permission to set out on his own to adventure. The temple agreed, as it would provide him with more training and experience that they couldn’t provide. He was happy and promised that he would one day return to the temple. As an adventuring gift, the temple gave him an amulet, a magical sword, a magical armor, a basket, a non-magical shield, non-magical boots, 280 gold pieces, and his adventuring gear.
With a happy and slightly tearful farewell, Medrash went on his way to adventuring. It was a humble start to his adventuring future.
